Todd is founder and Managing Partner of The Legacy Companies, a professional training, consulting, and coaching firm with the sole purpose of helping financial advisors successfully grow their businesses. Todd started as a successful advisor.  In fact, he was so successful, advisors around the country asked him to train them on the methods he used.  Before long, his focus shifted to implementing turn-key systems and processes for enhancing advisor-client relationships. He is the author of The Right Side of the Table and The Future of You, a keynote speaker and serves on multiple boards of philanthropic organizations.

In our conversation, Todd shares the framework of the most effective strategies he teaches advisors: the Above the Lineä Conversations (to help you get to the bottom of clients’ goals for the future), the bridge talk (as opposed to an elevator pitch), and his concept of the ‘best first meeting ever’ – a proactively designed plan to wow your potential clients and kick off your relationship on the best possible foot.
